A program that brings young people closer to opportunities in the impact ecosystem, understanding the entrepreneurial process, promoting innovation, and developing solutions linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Impact Journey is an initiative designed by Casa do Impacto, developed in co-creation with the Amélia de Mello Foundation, with the involvement of the José de Mello Group and Sovena Group companies. The program will focus on solutions that create and adapt products and services in four areas: Agroindustry, Water, Education, and Prevention & Lifestyles. This program is for projects in the ideation and testing phase, or startups (launched over a maximum period of two years), composed of teams of 2 to 3 university students or young adults aged between 18 and 30, Portuguese or foreigners who wish to implement the project in Portuguese territory.

FAQ

Do I need to apply with a team?

Yes, all applications must enter two or three elements. No one does anything alone; a team project only adds to it.

Can I apply if I already have a project running?

Yes, we accept projects already under development or work teams that want to develop product innovation for an existing project. However, the organization must have a maximum of 2 years since incorporation.

Can I apply if I don't have any experience?

Yes. We accept projects from diaper entrepreneurs but are highly motivated. Make a good application and convince us that your home is here!

How much time do I need to spend on the Impact Journey?

We are looking for entrepreneurs who are entirely committed to the project. During ten days (2 weeks), we will work hard to develop the projects that entered the cohort. The work sessions will be primarily face-to-face during the acceleration weeks and will occur in October 2023.

What are the prizes?

Each of the three winning projects will receive a monetary prize of €5,000.00 (five thousand Euros) – (total of €15,000 in prizes) + 1 year of Incubation at Casa do Impacto + Alpha Pack for the Web Summit (November 2023) + Inspiring Journey, in London in partnership with LSE Generate from the London School of Economics (December 2023).
